The Northern Forest Canoe Trail refers to a Vermont organization which encourages canoe and kayak travel along the lakes and rivers of New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Quebec. The organization, based in Waitsfield, offers books, maps and web-based tools to help visitors plan their route along the 740 mi (1,185 km) trail.
