Eighteen percent of the runs at Sugarbush are rated as 'beginner,' 39% are rated as 'intermediate' and, for those who enjoy a challenge, 43% are designated as'expert.' Snowboarding is permitted at Sugarbush. Visitors will also appreciate the availability of onsite accommodation at Sugarbush Lodge.

The challenging expert slopes of Mad River Glen's terrain, in conjunction with its legendary annual 250 inches of snowfall, makes this a premiere snow destination for skiers. Snowboarding is not permitted at Mad River Glen. The resort's extensive trail system, diverse beginner and intermediate trails in addition to a single base departure point makes this an attractive ski area.
